We will be hosting Sensei Joe Carslake and Sensei Martin Carslake for a science seminar during September. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn a lot about not just Kyushoshin but also about the science of self-defence - knowledge you can later use to improve your own self-defence.

Welcome to the new website! In this initial devlog I will briefly detail all of the features of the website that I have made thus far to make sure you can utilise this information as best as possible.
Along the top of every page you will see a navbar with the site's logo and a number of other options. If you wish to return to the home page, simply click the logo. If you wish to visit any other page, simply click one of the other options on the navbar (e.g. Hyungs or FAQs). Some options, e.g. Hyungs, are a dropdown that will give even more options for pages.
At the bottom of the page you will see a "Version X.X.X". Click this link to see all the currently implemented features of the site and all the features I plan to implement in the future.
If you're looking at this page, you have no doubt already seen the home page as well as the picture gallery, current news gallery, and forecast of events. These will be periodically updated by me, whenever information has become outdated, or someone has requested a change (such as granting/withdrawing permission to use a photo). At the time of release, the only photos on this site are of myself - I don't need to ask myself for permission! However, if you would like to be shown on the page, simply let me know and I can add any (Tang Soo Do) photo. If you would like anything added to the news reel (pictures from a competition, some text, or maybe just some cool self-defence you found online), yet again just let me know and I'll see what I can do. Finally, the forecast of events are to show any significant events planned for the future of the clubs.
If you want to learn more about how the site works I'll happily explain. But for those who are interested, this project is a dynamic site coded with Python Flask and hosted for free via Vercel
I made this site for 2 reasons: to centralise all of our information so students can learn more easily, and to practise and build upon my knowledge of web development. With that second reason in mind, there may be some bugs/mistakes in the site. If you have any comments or suggestions, just speak to me and I'll see what I can do.
